So I haven't Blogged in a VERY long time

The question that I have for people is this.....should I start blogging again? Not sure how many people would read my blog if I started it back up again. Life just been crazy and its really hard for me to think about what to put on here. Ideas would be great....Well for now....this is all until I know what to blog about and if people I know actually want to know whats on my mind or whats going on in my life

First Blog in Months

Haven't posted anything since the end of June and now it's the middle of November. I figured it was about time I started again, so here I am. Summer came and went. I spent almost every weekend up in G-ezers (Lake). Summer quickly turned into Fall. I haven't done anything too exciting.

November has been a pretty busy month for me. Other then working during the week, I've been practicing Tautes Dejas (Folk Dancing) for 3 performances this month, 1 in Cleveland, Latvian Independence Day Festival, and the International Festival in Indianapolis. Two of them are done, I have one more this weekend. It's been alot of fun dancing.

Next Wednesday I'm going up to Chicago for Kongress! Hopefully I'll post something about that. Here's some pictures from the summer, chicago, cleveland, and Latvija's Independence Day Celebration.

Quick Update...Off to Garezers again for the 4th straight weekend

Well I haven't been home much since the Latvian celebration of Jani (Summer Solstice). 12 out of 21 days...after this weekend it will be up to 15-24. Sorry that I haven't blog I'll try to put up some pictures from each weekend I've been there. Hopfully this upcoming weekend. I think I'm going to stay home that weekend. Anyways....of the the vortex known at Garezers.

Weekly Recap

I meant to blog earlier in the week, but forgot. Going all the way back to last Friday, this is the day I left for Garezers. My parents and I arrived in Garezers in the early afternoon. We cleaned up the trailor and got ourselves drenched in the huge storm they had. Luckey the rain didn't last all weekend or infact all night. I eventually meet up with my friends and started partying. It was also the first time I finally got to check out the go-cart we bought. EK and I took it out to the shooting range and went mudding, it was a fun time, until the spring in the cluch broke. Something else we have to fix now. Friday was also the night I saw my ex-boyfriend/fling, what ever we were. I gave him an ear full, that night. I wish I could either get away from him or he would finally figure out what he wants in life. Men are so frustrating. I guess I'm the fool, for still wishing something to happen.

Saturday was Supertalka, the clean-up for Garezers. I spent the day with KJ cleaning up the beach....and of course Burka World. After working we started the first official Burka World of the summer, the partying continued until the wee hours of the morning. Sunday I made my way to Happy Landings for breakfast/lunch with some of my friends, then headed back to Indy.

Sunday I had my first Folk dancing practice in more then 4 years. It was hot and sweaty, but fun. We are dancing up in Garezers for Jani (Summer Soltice). I'm dancing 3 out of the 5 dances, which should be alot of fun.

This week at work SUCKED butt. I've been having trouble with the girl (AS) that I work with. I have been working in the Older Infant room (6months-11months). In this room you don't really have time to socialize, but the girl in the room with my finds time to do this....all the time. She's out of the room more then she is in the room. Don't get me wrong she does do things, but not the amount she should be doing. Wednesday, I finally had it after a blow-out between her and I. Here's how it went. I came back from lunch and she had told me that she sent the other lady that lets us go to lunh to the room 15-20 minutes ago, cause the lady is slow (she's in her 70s but she does work, just slow) The room was crazy, after we got the room calmed down, AS left the room and I looked at the diaper chart and noticed that a baby needed to have her diaper changed, so I put her on the diaper table and was about to change her when AS came back in the room.

AS: Is she poopy?
Me: No, she hasen't been changed in over 2 hour
AS: Yeah, she was, I changed her
Me: Well, you didn't chart it, how am I subpost to know this
AS: Well, I was by myself and didn't have time to chart it
Me: Who's fault is that, you let SH go into the next room, while I was on my lunch break
AS: Well, If you came back at 12:30, when your subpost too
Me: Um, I didn't clock out until 12:13, I'm going to take my 30minute lunch break, if you clocked in and out on time, maybe I would have been back earlier.
AS: You, don't talk to me like that, your not one of my childs parents
Me: Excuse me? All I said was you didn't chart it, you came back to me with the attitude.

At this point I was done talking to this moron, I didn't walk out of the room, I stayed the rest of the day in there, but when 6 o'clock rolled around I decided to talk to my boss, and tell her that I couldn't work in there with AS anymore. I finally hit my boiling point. My boss was cool, and she told me that I should have told her earlier that she was never in the room and all the other things that she was not doing. Anyways its the weekend and I'm ready to relax, I'm just glad that when Monday morning rolls around I don't have to be in the room with her, or that room at all. Hope everyone is doing well who reads this, if anyone does read this.

Garezers Bound

Garezers (Long Lake) Burka World

Tomorow I'm leaving for my favorite quick getaway vacation, Garezers (Long Lake). It's been 3 months since I've been up there and I'm super excited! This weekend is SuperTalka. It's the weekend for cleanup, to get it ready for the summer. Saturday I will be cleaning, raking leaves, what ever they need done. When its all done I get a free t-shirt, free food, and free BOOZE.

Last weekend was a busy weekend, Friday night my good friend had his birthday party. It was a blast. We had a private room at a wine bar. Everyone got a little hammered, especially the birthday boy. Saturday I went to another birthday party, at a friends house. It was fun too, I got to see some people that I don't normally see. Other then that not too much else going on.

My Baby's Home

Second post of the day. Today I picked up my baby from the vet. I'm glad he's home, but it's still really hard, never thought pet loss would be this difficult. He's been gone from this world for two weeks, it's still hard, but maybe now that he's home and watching over us, it will get easier.

Memorial Day Weekend

It's Thursday and I'm finally blogging about Memorial Day weekend. I didn't do anything over the top. Normally, my family gets together at my house. We normally listen to the race, swim, and have a cookout, but not this year. My mom went to Arkansas to care of my sister, my dad and brother went up to Garezers to work on our place, while I stayed home. Since no one was home, I had a cookout on Sunday. It was alot of fun, it was actually the first cookout that I myself had hosted. It turned out great. Here are some pictures from Sunday.
